What is covered.
Manufacturing defects in steel, blade, or handle components
Blade alignment issues arising from the production process
Handle or pivot defects present at time of purchase
Professional sharpening support to maintain the original edge character
Damage caused by improper use, dropping, or mishandling
Damage caused by sharpening by an unqualified third party that alters or removes the convex edge
Normal wear and edge dulling from regular professional use (covered by sharpening service)
Cosmetic damage that does not affect cutting performance
How to make a warranty claim.

Email kai@katanaedge.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the defect. We respond to all warranty inquiries within 1–2 business days.
We assess the claim
Our team will review your claim. For manufacturing defects, we will either repair or replace the shear at no cost to you. We may ask you to return the shear for inspection.
Resolution
Qualifying claims are resolved through repair or replacement. We cover return shipping for confirmed warranty claims. Non-warranty repairs are also available at fair service rates.
